Temperature Sensing Device

  • Reads the temperature sensor data
  • Displays the temperature value in Celcius and Fahrenheit on the LCD screen in this format 
    • Temperature Value: x C
    • Temperature Value: x F
  • According to the temperature value, RGB LED color changes so that when the temperature value increases, the LED color goes more Green and when it decreases the LED color goes more Red


Components

Steps

Step One :

  1. Pin 1 of LCD (from left) is connected to the ground
  2. Pin 2 of LCD (from left) is connected to 5V
  3. Pin 3 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 9
  4. Pin 4 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 12
  5. Pin 5 of LCD (from left) is connected to ground
  6. Pin 6 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 11
  7. Pins from 7 to 10 of LCD (from left) are not connected to any port
  8. Pin 11 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 5
  9. Pin 12 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 4
  10. Pin 13 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 3
  11. Pin 14 of LCD (from left) is connected to Arduino pin no. 2
  12. Pin 15 of LCD (from left) is connected to 5V with current limiting resistor CLR 220 Ohms.
  13. Pin 16 of LCD (from left) is connected to the ground
