Project describtion :

 

A smart suitcase in which I can put my clothes , gadgets , …. etc

  • That can easily side follow me at fixed distance with variable velocity

Depending on my walking velocity,

  • Also it can avoid obstacles , by changing it’s route then continue walking by my side
  • Moreover , may I make it self balanced so it can follow me in improperly paved roads or any other rough plane
  • One more thing it could be nice to have on which is putting more 4 wheels in upper side of suit case to allow it following me in case it didn’t make it self balanced and dropped down on its face.

 

  • This project requires designing and fabricating of the luggage case parts
  • Arduino programming for needed functions
  • Sensors and modules integrated in circuits for same functions

  • the case should follow the person using his GPS coordinates of his mobile phone , with variable velocity depending on followed person walking speed .
  • the case can avoid obstacles by making an alternative route then it can get back to it’s motion direction

 

  • Essential :
  • The case can be self balanced , so it can provide it’s basic functions on cracked roads .
  • Nice to have :
  • is putting more 4 wheels in upper side of suit case to allow it following me in case it didn’t make it self balanced and dropped down on its face.

A- wood plates : for whole body made with (laser cutter) and designed by (fusion 360)

B- ABS  : for motor mount and wheels also (3D Printed) and designed  .by (fusion 360)

C- Bolts , wood stick , nuts , washers

D- 2*rubber wheels 65*26mm

E-caster wheel 20mm

 

Electronic parts :

A- Arduino uno + 1*medium breadboard + jumper wires

B- 2*dc motors with req. torque + 1*L298nmotor driver

C- 11.1v 3s 2200 m amp. battery

D- (bluetooth Hc-05 + {GPS + Compass}Ublox NEO-6M GPS + HMC5883L Compass ) modules

E- Nice to have ultrasonic sensor for obstacles avoiding

 

FUSION 360 : to design different body parts

 

LASER CUTTER : to exe. wood designs

 

3D PRINTER : to exe. ABS parts' designs

 

Arduino Programming : to exe. the whole functionality
